Alexandra Dariescu’s Casse-Noisette et moi is a reading both personal and contemporary of one of the greatest masterpieces of ballet. In this pocket edition, reduced to solo piano and ballerina, Alexandra Dariescu digs into her own biography to unearth elements of fiction, juxtaposing the real with the virtual, in the true spirit of the libretto. As soon as night falls, the entire fairytale world that populates The Nutcracker comes to life, dancing in celebration, carried forward by the lights, the sets and the impressive digital effects. This immersive phantasmagoria is sure to captivate and delight all audiences, both young and old, who still want to believe in the Sugar Plum Fairy.
