The opera & access

The Dijon Opera is sensitive to the special needs of certain members of its audience, for whom various forms of assistance are offered free of charge. To benefit, simply mention your disability when reserving your tickets.

  • Reduced mobility 

The hall of the Auditorium is wheelchair accessible, and special assistance is also available

  • Magnetic loop 

A magnetic loop is available upon request and provides audio amplification of shows to people equipped with a device.

  • Audiodescription

The Dijon Opera offers its audio-description services free of charge: information will be available soon on shows of the 20/21 season that offer audio-description. 

The Dijon Opera provides programmes in Braille and bold font. To benefit from this service, you must mention this need when reserving your seats directly at these numbers: 03 80 48 82 76 or 06 03 13 79 20 or

For persons with hearing impairment, reservations can be made by SMS.

  • The Opera’s tactile models

The Opera’s tactile models: the Dijon Opera offers, free of charge, tactile tours of the Auditorium, with 20 models of the building (exterior and interior). Tours are organized for groups of 20 people maximum (10 with special needs and 10 accompanying persons).

The tactile models were created by the association Acces Culture under the patronage of the Fondation Harmonie Mutuelle.


Reduced ticket prices

Persons with disabilities benefit from a 50% discount off the full ticket price. This same discount is also valid for the person accompanying them.

For persons with hearing impairment, reservations can be made by SMS.
