In a career spanning two decades, with a dozen published recordings and hundreds of concerts in numerous countries, Katia Guerreiro is no doubt today one of the most honoured fadistas in the world. A worthy heir to Amalia Rodrigues, with her attention to the power of tradition and the bold spirit of modernity, she will perform excerpts from her album Mistura, released in 2022: a testimony to all the diverse musical influences from which the artist draws, but also the rich dialogues she has had with the poets whose words she sings, the composers who accompany her, and above all the three guitarists who sculpt for her, concert after concert, a beautiful jewel box from which her raw emotion shines forth.
