Marine Chagnon & Joséphine Ambroselli
Moving Songs is a show that leads the audience into the intimacy of women and artists. It is a concert held, as if in secret, by a French singer in full command of her art.
Born in Dijon, the mezzo-soprano Marine Chagnon pursues a brilliant career on the most prestigious stages. A member of the Paris Opera for the 2023-2024 season, she already dazzled the Dijon public in the title role of Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea, and she returns for La Traviata in February 2025 in the role of Flora. Here, with the pianist Josephine Ambroselli, we are given an intimate glimpse into the heart of their daily lives. We follow them in their musical practice, their joys, their tribulations, their doubts, their successes and their quest for a balanced life. Through the music of Cécile Chaminade, Astor Piazzolla, Jacques Offenbach and Francis Poulenc, the two young women share, with simple good humour and without filter, the inner fire that pushes them onto the stage and the secret aspirations that jockey within the hearts of all artists.
