Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne & Camille Pépin
from age 8
Following the Mini Symphony #1 presented in December, the Opéra de Dijon and the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne propose to you a new concert for the whole family, open to young and old.
Here is a unique occasion to dive into the world of the young French composer Camille Pépin: her science of orchestration and her imagination transform the orchestra into an immense pallet of colours. Joseph Bastian and the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne dialogue with Thierry Weber to guide you through her impressionist landscapes of infinite delicacy, replete with the sounds of water and auroral lights. The three pieces selected: Les Eaux célestes, La source d’Yggdrasil and Avant les clartés de l’Aurore were written between 2018 and 2023; they therefore constitute a perfect introduction to the musical styles of our times as well as to the narratives that circulate within them.
