9. How we use your data
We may share the information we collect with third parties who are bound to us by contract and carry out tasks on our behalf that are necessary to manage your account. We do not need your permission to do so.
If a criminal offense is committed in which any of the parties may be implicated, and the judicial authorities need access to the information we have collected, we will provide it to them upon their express and reasoned request. In that case, the information will no longer be covered by the data protection provisions.
Where certain information is required to access specific features of the site, we will make clear that it is mandatory when you enter it.
The Opéra de Dijon collects your data for the following purposes:
Improving our relationship with you as a customer
To give you the best possible access to our services, the Opéra de Dijon uses Ressources et cie, a ticketing and customer relationship management system that collects the personal data of our audiences. The fields you are asked to complete are limited to the data needed for our relationship with spectators and partners. The Ressources software processes your orders. This data is then used for marketing purposes through the Iroquois platform, to offer you services and to keep you informed of any changes, cancellations or postponements. In particular, we may use it to process your purchases and orders; keep you informed about your orders, invoices, services and promotions; offer you complementary services and promotional offers; manage your subscription or Pass; deliver products and services to you; and let you know if a performance is rescheduled, canceled or postponed.
Promoting our shows and services
We may also use the data we collect to promote our shows and services through direct marketing. For example, we may keep you regularly informed about our shows, news and services; offer you personalized promotions and services based on your attendance history; and show you advertising (display or AdWords campaigns) based on your interests.
Please note that direct marketing by automated calling system, fax or email requires your prior consent. If you have given your consent, you may receive newsletters, information and special offers by phone, email, fax, SMS or MMS.
Statistical studies and needs analysis
We may also use the data we collect for statistical studies and needs analysis, for example to enrich our statistics and to develop management, measurement and reporting tools. Some of this analysis and these tools may be developed in partnership with external service providers. Where this is the case, the data shared and analyzed is anonymized, and the providers do not keep it.
10- How long we keep your personal data
We keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. This period is 3 years from the end of our commercial relationship.
We are committed to protecting the security and confidentiality of your data. Your data is stored by the Opéra de Dijon’s partners (Ressources, our ticketing and customer relationship software, and Iroquois), in compliance with French law and European regulations.
All transfers of your data to third-party recipients are governed by contractual safeguards, to ensure your data is protected and your rights are respected.
For online payments, we do not keep your bank details beyond the transaction, except where you pay for a subscription in installments or save your card in your personal account. In those cases, your details are kept so that future payments are quicker and easier. They are permanently deleted when the card expires, or when you delete them from your customer account.
