Cultural action

Opera for teachers

Each season the Dijon Opera proposes numerous projects in connection with the season’s shows. These projects are created ahead of the back-to-school period in collaboration with the artists of the Opera, its ensembles and artists in residence or associates. They allow students to become actors in the show before experiencing it as audience members. From discovery to performance of a show on the Opera stage, along with a rehearsal at the centre of the orchestra, the projects can take a variety of forms and be adapted to all ages.

To participate:

Primary level: on the City of Dijon’s IETS platform, through the pedagogical advisers or directly through the cultural action service.

Secondary level and university: through the pedagogical advisers or directly through the cultural action service.

Teachers workshop

Throughout the season, the cultural action service helps you to prepare your visit to the Opera:

• The pedagogical dossiers for each opera, choreographic shows and concerts during school times.

 • The teacher space with numerous dossiers on the world of the Opera and the shows of the season. To access your teacher space, connect to the Espace Pro (top right of the page).

• The teaching programmes on the operas are custom-designed to accompany teachers in preparation for their visit to the Opera. They are available for each lyric show and reserved for teachers who bring their class to that show.

• The pedagogical events in connection with the services of the Académie de Dijon and Canopé 21. The Dijon Opera is partnered with the Académie de Dijon.
