Spirito & Dijon Opera Choir
MESSA! is an exceptional project bringing together 40 artists from two choirs—the Dijon Opera Choir and Spirito—to sing as one. It is also an immersive experience at the heart of great choral works, from Bach to Arvo Pärt.
Nothing moves us quite like the human voice, reaching deep within us and stirring emotions beyond words. Under the direction of Thibaut Louppe, the Dijon Opera Choir and Spirito celebrate its expressive power in a panorama of some of the finest works in the a cappella sacred repertoire, from Bach, Brahms, Mendelssohn and Rachmaninov to Poulenc, Barber and Penderecki.
From Baroque splendour to modern masterpieces, this programme celebrates the sheer power of choral music and the exquisite beauty of voices singing in harmony. An unforgettable concert, building a fleeting cathedral of sound.
