- How can I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets on our website opera-dijon.fr, at our box office located at 18 boulevard de Verdun – 21000 Dijon (open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.), or at the venue’s ticket desk starting one hour before the performance (subject to availability).
- When should I arrive?
Doors open one hour before the start of the performance. We recommend arriving 45 minutes before curtain time, as bag checks and ID verification may increase entry time. The theatre doors open 30 minutes before the performance begins (except in exceptional artistic circumstances).
- What happens if I arrive late?
The theatre doors close as soon as the curtain rises. Doors will remain closed 15 minutes after the start of the performance. If you arrive within those 15 minutes, you will not be allowed into the hall. You may take your seat during intermission if the performance includes one.
- Does the Opéra de Dijon have a bar?
Yes. The bar, located on the ground floor, opens one hour before the performance and offers drinks and light refreshments.
- Do you sell last-minute tickets?
Yes, a limited number of €10 tickets may be released for certain performances. Availability varies — please call the box office the day before or the day of the show to confirm. These tickets are sold at the venue’s ticket desk when doors open. One ticket per person present may be purchased, subject to availability.
- Can I buy tickets for my child to attend alone?
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult and seated next to them. Lap seating is not permitted.
- I have a disability. Can I buy accessible seating?
Yes. You may purchase a ticket at the Bleu Blanc rate (50% off with a valid Carte Mobilité Inclusion – only the three official CMI cards are accepted). Subject to availability, you may request a seat in the accessible area (PMR). Your companion is also eligible for the Bleu Blanc rate to facilitate your visit. Please note that PMR-designated seats are reserved exclusively for CMI cardholders.

Gift vouchers can be used multiple times until their total value is spent. The amount of your purchase will be deducted from your voucher each time you use it.
- Do I have to choose a performance before the voucher’s expiry date?
No. The expiry date indicates the last day you can use the voucher, not the date of the performance.
Example: If your voucher is valid until January 26, 2026, you may use it online or at the box office up to that date to buy tickets for a performance taking place later (e.g., in June 2026).
