Since 2009, the Opéra de Dijon has developed a very rich policy of cultural activities, for all audiences, in order to enable as many people as possible to discover and come to the Opéra, and to reach out to those who are far from it and don’t dare or can’t attend an operatic, musical or choreographic performance.
The Opéra de Dijon develops and offers a wide range of participative and creative projects as part of its cultural and artistic activities, in partnership with schools. A real immersion in the show, school projects give students the chance to be both actors and spectators. Staging, music, costumes... but also artistic creations, encounters, backstage visits, access to rehearsals: all artistic disciplines are represented, enabling students to become fully aware of the show before coming to see it.
