Nos Matins Intérieurs

Ages 7 and up

An enchanting journey into the art of juggling, Nos matins intérieurs weaves together a mosaic of individual stories to create a collective portrait, accompanied by live music from the Debussy Quartet.

Ten jugglers from different generations and nationalities come together to explore what it means to create something together. The result is a remarkable performance in which each performer tells their own story—through words and movement—while also creating collective scenes shaped by shared rhythms and a common vocabulary of movement, driven by the Debussy Quartet. The Baroque exuberance of Henry Purcell and the hypnotic Romanticism of Marc Mellits accompany their poetic feats of skill, in beautifully choreographed sequences that draw on both theatre and dance. Before our eyes, the stage is constantly transformed as jugglers and musicians move and rearrange themselves into different shapes, creating new ways for their bodies, instruments and disciplines to interact.

+ As a prelude to the show and to kick off its Festival, Cirq’ônflex will bring a series of itinerant performances to the Auditorium foyer.
