presentation

In intimate resonance with an era, Age of Content from (LA)HORDE, examines the effects produced on the body by entities that are ever more virtual: a virtuoso yet fragile work, exploring the frontiers between worlds.

In Age of Content, (LA)HORDE delves into the physical and emotional experiences of our bodies in daily life as they are constantly assaulted by myriad digital possibilities: social networks, avatars, virtual worlds… Age of Content explores, through dance, these multiple existences in worlds outside space-time in which, in turn, we can live, survive, confront, fight, flee, desire, or love. By borrowing the codes from fields as diverse as musical theatre, cinema, TikTok and videogames, Age of Content sets experience of reality at the heart of the virtual, by putting the latter to the test on the physical stage, in a double movement of vertigo and emancipation.
