Three great homecoming concerts for free
As part of the European Heritage Days, on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September, the Opera of Dijon will open its new season with three concerts at Place de la Liberation and the Auditorium.
Saturday, 18th September
Guillaume Tourniaire conducts the Dijon Bourgogne Orchestra and the Dijon Opera Choir in an irresistible program of operatic arias for soprano and tenor.
Concerts at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. with the support of the City of Dijon.
In the event of bad weather, the shows will both take place in the Auditorium, Place Jean Bouhey, at 8 p.m, on the same day.
Sunday, 19th September
On Sunday, at 5 p.m., it’s Leonardo García Alarcón & Cappella Mediterranea’s turn to present an exceptional anthology from Claudio Monteverdi to Jean-Philippe Rameau, one of the most inventive periods in the history of music.
Free access, depending on availability. Health pass compulsory.
Booking is recommended for the Sunday event at Auditorium.
