On a rotating stage, Marie and Yoann Bourgeois bring to life Pomme’s Saisons, an orchestral album reimagined around the singer by a string quartet and four dancers. A celebration of nature, for children and the young at heart.

With her fourth album, singer-songwriter Pomme steps off the beaten path to create a cycle of melodies and songs that follow the rhythm of the seasons — four delicately orchestrated movements in which her voice sometimes fades into the textures of the ensemble. Le Petit Cirque extends this experience to the stage, blending magic, circus, music and dance to capture the beauty of our environment. Written by Pomme and Marie and Yoann Bourgeois, the performance follows a character through the four seasons of her life, each represented by a natural element and a distinctive colour palette. Imagined as a slightly old-fashioned circus ring, the circular, rotating stage allows for multiple perspectives and a poetic play on centrifugal force and gravity — hallmarks of Yoann Bourgeois’ work.
